We supply gold ranging from 22 karat (91.6% fineness) to 24 karat (99.5%+ fineness), depending on client requirements and downstream application. Raw doré can also be supplied prior to refining for clients who have their own processing facilities. All purity levels are confirmed through independent assay prior to shipment.
Yes. Every shipment is accompanied by a certified assay report confirming weight, purity, and metal composition. The assay is conducted by an accredited laboratory and forms part of the full transaction documentation package, which also includes a certificate of origin, export permit, and customs clearance papers.
Yes. ISH Metal Trading is registered with the Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB), operates under the compliance framework of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development (MEMD), and is a member of the Uganda National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UNCCI). All export activities are conducted under valid permits and in full accordance with Uganda's Mining Act and export regulations.
Ethical sourcing is central to everything we do. We apply the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Mineral Supply Chains across our procurement process. This includes thorough vetting of all sourcing partners, site-level assessments, chain-of-custody documentation, and regular audits. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward any gold linked to conflict, child labour, or illegal mining activity.
A first engagement typically follows four steps: (1) Initial enquiry — you contact us with your requirements (volume, purity, destination, timeline). (2) KYC & due diligence — we exchange the necessary compliance documentation on both sides. (3) Price agreement — we agree on quantity, purity, and price at competitive, market-aligned rates. (4) Execution — the gold is assayed, documented, and shipped to your nominated vault or refinery, with full insurance cover in transit.
Yes. Our pricing is referenced to the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) spot price at the time of agreement. We are committed to offering competitive, market-aligned rates that reflect the current state of the global gold market. The final per-gram or per-troy-ounce price is agreed and confirmed in writing before any transaction proceeds, and no changes are made after that point without mutual consent.
All shipments move via bonded, secure air freight through Entebbe International Airport, handled by licensed and vetted logistics partners with experience in precious metals. Full transit insurance is arranged for every shipment at replacement value. End-to-end tracking is provided, and delivery is made to a client-nominated vault, bonded warehouse, or refinery. Customs clearance and export documentation are managed entirely by our team.
We currently serve clients in the United Arab Emirates, Switzerland, Belgium, India, Hong Kong, and several other markets across the Middle East, Europe, and Asia. We are open to engaging with qualified buyers in any jurisdiction where our compliance standards can be met, subject to applicable export regulations and sanctions screening.
Quality disputes are handled through our independent re-assay protocol. In the event of a discrepancy, the gold is submitted to a mutually agreed, accredited assay laboratory for independent testing. Our pre-shipment assay certificate serves as the reference benchmark. If a genuine variance is confirmed, we work swiftly to resolve it through adjustment, replacement, or refund — depending on the nature and scale of the discrepancy. Our commitment to client satisfaction does not end at delivery.
